I know, it's usually #MaternityMonday around here, but oddly I haven't had a Maternity Portrait session in a couple weeks (don't worry, I have one tonight, so we are safe, lol) BUT, I have had some adorable First Birthday Portraits that I know will brighten up this gloomy, rainy Monday.... (I mean more than the fact that school is back in session Praise the Lord!) So, keep scrolling and see some favorites of this First Birthday session from this Jacksonville Fl Family Photogr
Recently I have been SOOOOOO blessed with meeting some new little lives within hours of their entrance to this world. Fresh 48 Sessions are quickly becoming a BIG fave of mine (ok, let's be honest, anything dealing with a sweet little life is a fave). These, in Hospital Newborn Portrait sessions capture the details of those first hours we forget about so quickly. When family members are there, capturing moments with grandparents and siblings always makes it even more special.
It's the Friday, before Mother's Day. As mom's, it doesn't take much to get us all watery eyed over our kids. Even if all day long they have driven us to the brink of insanity, a little cuddle and "I love you mommy" takes it all away. Being a Mom is HARD. Whether you have one kid, 3 kids or 5 kids (or more) it's hard. It's hard because we LOVE SO MUCH. It's hard because we teach, we discipline, we love, we calm, we worry. All Day Long. My girls are older and this hasn't stopp
It's been a busy Spring with so many gorgeous mamas waiting to meet new little lives, and I couldn't be happier. Melissa's St Augustine FL Maternity Session was gorgeous. Sunrise by the water and empty streets made it perfection. Meeting this little man was just as wonderful. If you have been following me for awhile you know I love newborns. I love dogs. So when a sweet little newborn has a fuzzy big brother. I am on happy Photographer. Capturing Mr. C at home with this big b
Last week, I shared on Instagram a back of camera shot I did at the train station while we were waiting on the train. I titled it, "your daily does of, Oh, look at that light. Sit here so I can take a photo." It's the life of my girls. Seriously, sometimes they rebel and I get nothing, but often at least one of them says, "Ok." So, what do you need for good light? Literally, ONE GOOD WINDOW. That's it. If you only have one room in your home with one good window, put their toy
I can never stop gushing about my Watch Me Grow families. Featured today, is an adorable little man who I was lucky enough to capture while his parents were waiting on him... and of course, the sweetest Newborn Portraits once he made his arrival into the world (a very short time after. His momma texted me to let me know he had arrived before I was even done editing their gorgeous Maternity portraits!) So, I was excited to see just how much this little man had grown. Even thou
It's not secret I LOVE St Augustine, FL. Just walking around always makes me feel like I am on a vacation. I also have been LOVING the gorgeous mamas to be I have been blessed enough to capture lately with their Maternity Portraits. So, Maternity Photos in St Augustine, FL??? I can hear the angels singing now. Yes, even a sunrise session for a non morning person is SOOO exciting when it's a Maternity Portrait session in my favorite city. So, make Friday even more Fri-Yay and
I've said it before and I will say it again. I LOVE my Watch Me Grow families. I love that I get to know them. Get to see their little one as they grow, change, reach new milestones and get adorable little personalities as they go through their first year. Maternity Portraits, Newborn Portraits and then all those milestones. I get to capture big smiles, sitting, crawling, laughing, little dimples, and chubby legs. Everything you love about your little one. I work to capture.
"What you do matters, but WHY you do it matters much more." Over the weekend, I attended a Photography conference. My first ever. Some classes confirmed I was doing some things right. Some classes taught me a few new tricks. But one class was mind blowing. It made me realize, if I work towards my WHY, My work will always be something I love. Yes, I want to capture images that my clients love. But, the images both myself and my clients love most. Are always ones that fit my wh
