Top Maternity Photography Images of 2021

It's no secret I have LOVED being a Maternity Photographer from the beginning.

Being able to capture moments of such a joyous time and showing mommas just how gorgeous they are while carrying a new little life....what could be better?

This year I feel like the mommas were even more beautiful....or I probably always think that, but still it made my decision hard.

But, here you go my Top Maternity Photography images of 2021

1) FAVORITE USE OF COLOR MATERNITY PHOTO

The color of the leaves, her dress, it all just worked perfectly for this session and I LOVED it when I saw it all together. Red always means a pop of color especially if you are surrounded by yellows and browns. So, here in Florida that means for December thru February sessions for sure.

2) FAVORITE COMPOSITE MATERNITY PHOTO OF MY TOP MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY IMAGES

I don't do composites a lot, BUT when the dress is this amazing and her hubby was willing to throw the dress from both sides so we can make it work it definitely turned into something beautiful for this glowing momma at her maternity photoshoot in St Augustine Beach, FL.

3) FAVORITE COUPLES POSE AT A MATERNITY SESSION

This session was one of the first with my new lens and new camera and I don't know if it was that, the sunrise, this gorgeous couple or all of it coming together I loved basically every image from this session. Made it hard to share even my favorite couples pose here.

4) FAVORITE BIG SISTER CAPTURE AT A MATERNITY SESSION

This one was SOOOOOO hard, and there is definitely at least one honorable mention before I went back and forth between, but it's probably because I don't do this pose enough that I chose this image. The sweetest big sister excited about her little sister...all so perfect.

5) FAVORITE BIG BROTHER AT A MATERNITY SESSION

You guessed it, another super hard one. But, I think it's just this little man's smile that made it for me here. Have I mentioned I love when siblings join us for the session? The whole family celebrating the new baby...makes my heart happy.

6) FAVORITE SUNFLARE MATERNITY PHOTO CAPTURE

If the sun is working for me, I always try to play with different angles to grab sun flares in my photos. Sometimes they don't turn out amazing, but other times....they make a beautiful maternity photo even more special. This image is definitely the later.

7) FAVORITE SUNRISE MATERNITY CAPTURE

Sunrise sessions are always gorgeous, make it a sunrise Maternity session and it's basically perfect. So of course, I LOVED this session. And yes, it's not even a beach sunrise session! See, sunrise doesn't have to be beach to be beautiful.

8) FAVORITE SUNSET MATERNITY PHOTO

Obviously I love sunrises, but the golden sunset light is hard to beat for sure. Throw in a good breeze and a beautiful not too hot evening and everything about this session was just perfection.

9) FAVORITE RAINY DAY MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION

You read that right. Sometimes because a family is visiting in town we can't reschedule and have to make it work. Walking around St Augustine and using covered areas when it was raining and the open areas when not made this session perfection. It also gave it a moodiness that I LOVE!!!!

10) FAVORITE IMAGE I LOVED SO MUCH I HAD TO RECREATE IT

We did a Lifestyle Maternity session at their home in Jacksonville, FL and I LOVED many images so much I recreated them when we did the newborn session a few months later. This capture was definitely one of my favorites and I did do it again with baby in arms for sure.
