Mondays can be hard..... Granted, for some moms, today can be a bit exciting as your children head back to school, or a bit sad if they are heading into Kindergarten (they grow so fast).
But, to do my part in making Monday better, I am sharing some favorites from a Fresh 48 Portrait session done in Hospital & a few tips.
Newborn Photography has my heart. In all forms. Seeing those new little lives and capturing the details and love that surrounds them fills me. I am excited each time I get to meet a new little life as a Newborn Photographer in Jacksonville and St Augustine FL and I am SUPER excited that more and more families are realizing that a Fresh 48 Portrait session is a part of the Newborn Photography experience that you can't miss.
1) See the Details- Those details of those first hours that you quickly forget in a wave of loving and caring for this new little love. This is why I know these sessions are worth capturing. Worth freezing so even when you're brain can't remember these moments, your have them for your heart to never forget. The hospital band, even the hospital swaddles that have never changed. Tiny hands, feet, lips. All of it so new, so perfect, and so worth capturing.
2) Bring the Light-
Hospital rooms sometimes have amazing windows you can use for light, BUT don't rely on it. Having a flash or external light source other than harsh hospital lights, will help you ensure these moments are perfect.
3) Don't forget to make it personal-
Blanket or hat with baby's name? Yes. Wooden plaque with name, birth info parents plan on keeping in their room? Use it.
Mom bought matching swaddled and robe set? Absolutely.
Anything the parents brought to keep it personal is 100% worth documenting.
4)Include siblings- No matter the age, including older siblings makes for gorgeous photos and freezes this time, when their family grew, perfectly.
So, take a moment, remember back when your kiddos were so fresh and new to this world, and check out some favorites from this recent session and why Fresh 48 Newborn Photography is 100% worth it!
Happy Monday!
