As a St Augustine & Jacksonville Florida newborn photographer, though I specialize in Lifestyle Newborn Photography, I know that doing newborn photos at home isn't for everyone. So, I’m always on the lookout for scenic outdoor newborn locations that give you gorgeous natural light, texture, and that dreamy portrait vibe 🌿📸 so you can have beautiful outdoor newborn photos (but still perfect for a milestone session or Family photo) — here are some of my top favorite spots in the Jacksonville–St. Augustine area (including beach favorites, soft garden backdrops, and iconic landscapes):

1) Big Talbot Island State Park

near Jacksonville is an absolute favorite for outdoor sessions — from its unique Boneyard Beach driftwood silhouettes to shaded nature trails, it’s perfect for artsy newborn photos, milestone sessions, or family photos with coastal forest vibes.
