Family Portraits SHOULD BE FUN.

There should be laughter, play, tickles, cuddles and games. Families should be photographed having fun together. Loving each other. Because that is WHO our families are.

We play. We have fun. We Love.

So, anytime a client has a specific idea for fun portraits I do my best to help them make it happen.

When meeting up with a Watch Me Grow family for these portraits are even better. All along, Sara has told me her ideas for fun portraits. She and Mike are fun people. They love many of the same things in life and want to bring up their daughter doing the same.

So, when I saw the "Harry Potter Children's Library" in the nursery during their Newborn session I commented on it and that I had never seen it before. Of course, the idea for a Harry Potter themed session was brought up. Though, a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal would have been amazing, the second best idea was many of the hidden gems of St Augustine as a backdrop.

And, those beautiful buildings WORKED PERFECTLY.
