2021 has been an amazing year Family Photo wise!
From Milestones and First Birthday sessions to multi-generational sessions and of course Fall and Christmas sessions being a Family Photographer in Jacksonville and St Augustine FL has been awesome!
Of course, that makes this another hard blog to do because of all the amazing clients I have had and amazing photos I have captured for those families.
So, once again, after my Top 10 list, there are a bunch of honorable mentions because....I had to.
So, here they are my Top 5 Favorite Family Photography Images (and some of these are just funny) from 2021!

1) FIRST SESSION OF 2021 (basically it was all completely awesome, so I gave it a spot...why not)
2) FAVORITE PROP BROUGHT TO A SESSION
This was easy. This jeep not only made moving the kids from one spot to another easy it also made for some AWESOME photos at their sunrise family photography session.
2) MOST AMAZING CLOUDS DURING A FAMILY PHOTOSHOOT
We almost called this session due to rain then decided to go for it and I am SO glad we did. That shelf cloud in the distance was spectacular and we never got rained on. So, watch the radar, clouds in the sky doesn't mean a bad session.
3) FAVORITE DOG IN THE PHOTO OF 2021
I may be biased because this particular dog loves me. Like, LOVES me when he hears my voice in the neighborhood he comes running. If I come to the house, I have to pet him...like a lot. So, capturing his sweetness with his family was of course a must do.
4) FAVORITE PHOTO WITH GRANDPARENTS
This one was hard as I met SO many amazing families who included multiple generations.....so I kinda split my two favorite photos into two categories....this one and the next.
5) FAVORITE PHOTO WITH GREAT-GRANDPARENTS
Yeah, I mean, how cute is this little man and his wonderful great-grandparents. These aren't always photos we have to treasure so I am ALL about taking the photos while we can. While we still have these people we love so much in our lives.
6) FAVORITE SESSION THAT INCLUDED LOTS OF EXPLORING
I always love a session that is mostly just capturing a family interacting together..exploring and having fun. This beach is usually packed so I don't always go there, but on this weeknight it was pretty empty and absolutely perfect for this family photoshoot.
7) FAVORITE PHOTO OF MOM AND CHILD
I try to capture photos of mom with each child at every session. These are often my favorites, but this particular session those photos just killed. I loved so many it made it hard to choose, but this one.....just perfection.
8) FAVORITE PHOTO OF DAD AND CHILD
This is another hard one as dads loving on their kids is basically amazing always. But the light, and her sweet smile just made this particular image perfect.
9) FAVORITE CAKE SMASH CAPTURE
First Birthday sessions often end with a cake smash. Some babies love it, some not so much and often it gives some hilarious images. But this sweet boy, he went for it. ALL THE WAY.
10) FAVORITE PHOTO WITH THE BACKGROUND BEING THE BEST
So, sometimes unintentionally I capture some hilariousness in the background of an image. Whether it's a dad really throwing a kid, nose picking or in this case, the daughter rejecting her dads kiss, it can make for some hilarious photos. So, I had to share at least one.
Of course, since choosing was so hard here are a few more of my favorites we will just list as "honorable mentions". Enjoy!
