Taking Newborn Photos Outdoors

2020 was......well it was.


BUT I think a lot of us can say we learned a few things.


One thing I learned, you can still capture beautiful images of a family at an outdoor newborn session.


Before that as a Jacksonville and St Augustine newborn photographer, I thought you had to do either posed in the studio newborn sessions or Lifestyle Newborn Photography (my jam).


Then, everything changed.


Many parents had these precious gifts of little lives arrive, but didn't feel comfortable going to a studio (yes, any good photographer is cleaning and sanitizing their studio before and after each client) or having a photographer come to their home even with a mask on.


So, to accommodate, I began offering an outdoor newborn photos as an option. Because you should always be able to capture beautiful images of your new babe in a way you feel safe.


This family was the winner of my Outdoor Newborn photography giveaway back in January (formally my Fresh 48 Session giveaway, which hopefully will return in 2022) and their session couldn't have been more perfect.


So, make this Easter weekend even better and check out a few of my favorites from this beautiful Newborn Photos outdoors at Washington Oaks Gardens near Crescent Beach, FL.
