Lifestyle Newborn Photography is pretty much my heart.
I used to do a more posed, studio style newborn portrait session and slowly, as I did more Lifestyle type sessions I realized, this was more, "me."
I liked the baby led posing and wrapped baby images. I loved capturing the furry siblings, nursery details, more relaxed dads and siblings so that everyone felt comfortable, happy.
Do I sometimes do a "pose" or two? Yes, but it's only at the parent's request and if the baby doesn't like the pose, I don't do it. I'm not forcing a baby into a position that they aren't comfortable in. I want the baby to be comfortable and safe at all times.
With the busy fall somehow I had very few newborn sessions, but I am SOOO glad that March is full of them!
So, my first Lifestyle Newborn session of 2021 was relaxed, had furry siblings and toddler giggles and was absolutely perfect.
