Years ago, newborn photography wasn't a thing.

Newborn photos at home were done by the family by the family with no understanding or lighting, posing, exactly HOW to create a beautiful image to cherish.

Then, you had to pack up your newborn, and other kids if you had them, and travel to maybe JC Penney or Olan Mills if you wanted newborn photos.

Then, newborn photographers came to the scene and had you come to their studio for beautiful newborn photos.

BUT NOW.....now, lifestyle newborn photographers exist.

This means, your local newborn photographer, brings everything to you. No packing to leave, no worrying if you have enough snacks for your toddler or diapers. The photographer arrives at your home and captures all the details and all the love surrounding your newest little love.

For me, if grandparents are visiting, I always grab a few photos with them too. Dogs are welcome, toddlers can go back and forth between playing, snacking or being in photos.

So much more relaxed and that is why I love lifestyle newborn photography.
