As a local St Augustine and Jacksonville family photographer, one of my favorite ages to capture is that perfect 6-9 month old range. There’s just something about this sweet in-between stage—your little one isn’t quite a newborn anymore, but they’re not racing around like a toddler yet. They’re full of expressions, curiosity, and personality, and photographing them at this age feels like bottling up a season you’ll want to remember forever 💛.

Between 6-9 months months, so many babies are sitting confidently, smiling with their whole face, and showing off their first teeth (or maybe those adorable gummy grins). They’re fascinated by the world, and when we head to one of our gorgeous local parks in St Augustine or Jacksonville, it’s like watching their curiosity come alive. The soft breeze, rustling leaves, and colorful flowers all become part of their little adventure, and it makes for the most natural, joy-filled photos.

Parks give us space to let your baby’s personality shine.
