The Joy of Photographing 6-9 Month Olds


As a local St. Augustine and Jacksonville family photographer, one of my favorite ages to capture is that perfect 6-9 month range. There’s something special about this sweet in-between stage. Your little one isn’t quite a newborn anymore, but they’re not racing around like a toddler yet. They’re full of expressions, curiosity, and personality. Photographing them at this age feels like bottling up a season you’ll want to remember forever. 💛

The Magic of 6-9 Months


Between 6-9 months, many babies are sitting confidently, smiling with their whole face, and showing off their first teeth. Those adorable gummy grins are hard to resist! They’re fascinated by the world around them. When we head to one of our gorgeous local parks in St. Augustine or Jacksonville, it’s like watching their curiosity come alive. The soft breeze, rustling leaves, and colorful flowers all become part of their little adventure. This setting creates the most natural, joy-filled photos.
