Class of 2023 High School Senior Photos

It is hard to break into the Senior Portrait business.


There are already a few amazing photographers who specialize in just that.


BUT, I actually LOVE doing Senior Photos. I always have. It was one of the areas I loved the from the beginning.


Why? Because I can use obscure, cool locations I probably wouldn't take a family (I mean, high school seniors know not to pick up glass or old cigarettes....your toddler probably does not).


High School Senior Photos have come SO far since when I was in high school (they made me hug a tree...it was awkward) and every time I finish a session with a senior I am always so happy and had so much fun.


BUT, since moving to the Jacksonville and St Augustine, Florida area I don't get asked often to do it.


SO when I do, I cannot even contain my excitement. It gives me perma-smile for the day for sure.


(YES, I do love maternity and newborn photography as well, but obviously it's so different)


Maybe it's the fact that I have teens of my own now that I see it differently too.


This sweet girl's mom reached out to me about scheduling a late spring session and it was basically perfection.
