When this all began a few weeks ago, though I had to move my sessions, I stumbled across a nationwide campaign to spread cheer, joy and love during this crazy time of COVID-19.
The Front Porch Project aimed to capture families on their front porch, for 6ft or more away, as we all navigate this together. Some families opted for fun images with signs, or dressed like dinosaurs, others took a more traditional route and posed together on their steps. Embracing their children, loving their family and receiving a few images in exchange for passing it forward to a charity.
Though the following week our stay in place orders came in, I was happy to be able to capture joy for so many families. And when things relax, even if I can still be no closer than 6ft from my clients, I may go back out and do even more. Just to give families a little joy amid the stress.
So, love on your family and check out a few of my favorites from these Front Porch sessions all over Jacksonville, FL.
*Note: Any images that look close, were cropped in editing. Again, stay 6ft away people.
Stay sane, happy and healthy,
Melody
