"What should we wear?"
This is DEFINITELY one of the top 10 questions I get. Probably even top 5.
Your portraits are a timeless capture of you. Your family. But, you may not want to hang a Portrait of your family in your daily attire (Yoga pants, messy bun for you, Princess dress and mismatched shoes on your toddler, gym shorts and a tshirt on your son, etc..). You want to look Picture Perfect. Everyone dressed flattering, but still in a style that represents them. Who they are now.
But, how do you accomplish this task?
Now, some of you are amazingly awesome at styling yourself and your family. I've seen it. Super cute families, coordinated, not matchy-matchy and totally ready to rock your session. I've had many Jacksonville FL Family Portraits be styled so awesome.
But, some are like me. Yes, though I can tell you what looks good on camera, I am horrible at dressing myself (plaid shirts and converse anyone?).
As I was revamping MCP this year I wanted to help. I wanted to make sure my families looked Picture Perfect, felt comfortable and LOVED the end result of the timeless photos. I wanted to be sure I was providing the best Family Portraits to Jacksonville, FL and St. Augustine, FL families I could. So, I have a couple new offerings in the works.
First. A stylist (not me, unless you want those plaid shirts and converse I mentioned above) will be AVAILABLE TO YOU. Want a few ideas sent your way? She will help design a Pintrest board.
Don't feel comfortable with a stranger in your closet, but know you need help? You can Skype your closet and let her help.
You're ok with a stranger because you want to be sure your family rocks their session? She can come over, go through your closets and help you all look fabulous.
Know you need to go shopping to accomplish the task of dressing everyone? Yep. You can have a personal shopper, who works with your STYLE AND BUDGET to ensure you are comfortable in what you wear and knowing your family looks as wonderful as you know they are. That you love your Family Portraits. Forever.
All the info and the 2nd new addition to MCP coming soon.....be on the lookout here on the blog, Facebook and Instagram.
Till then....here's a little something to give you an idea.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
