No, this is not some sort of Pokemon Go reference (though with a huge Pokemon fan for a few years now in the house, yes, we do play). We all LOVE our children. And thanks to Facebook's "On this Day" app we can easily remind ourselves how so very fast they grow. Just today, I was reminded of a post from 8 years ago...when my little Pokemon fan was just a baby and got her 1st kiss from a boy. (Granted, they were only 7 months and 6 months old respectively).
Life passes us by so quickly these days. Especially when it comes to how fast our little ones grow.
So, why not, once a year plan a session ALL ABOUT THEM. Ok, you're saying, "What do you mean?" or "How do you do that?" but have no fear, I will explain.
Above you see a few from my youngest's 6 year session. We accomplished all this in about 10 minutes before dinner. So, yes, it can be done in a Mini Session easy. My youngest you see is a teenager in a 6 year old body (soon to be 7, so I better start planning). So, I decided to plan her shoot around her fashionista style and spunky personality. Decided the urban setting fit best and viola! A session planned to showcase my crazy girl that's ALL ABOUT HER.
In the past, I have done Princess dress up sessions planned around a birthday girl's love of all things princess. For Kylie's 2nd birthday, I did a Pinkalicous book themed session, because that was her FAVORITE book. Your boy loves construction equipment? You can plan around that. Love of trains, you can plan it. Whether your little one is a book lover (like my oldest who I am planning a session at the library come December), lover of mermaids which I may be planning soon, shopaholic, or an animal lover. You can plan a session around what they love at that time. Celebrate their interests, attitudes, personality. All the things that make your little one uniquely them. And don't forget to capture those details!

Happy Monday and Happy Planning!
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
